On-site academic evaluation and tracking featuring tailored literacy and math, plus student milestone assessments and home-learning support for parents. This format is specifically designed to meet the varied social and academic needs of kids, without regard for chronological age or rigid grade levels.
Each week, participants receive whole-group and individual support in reading and writing tailored to their specific needs. Thematic units in traditional American history, science, and the Bible teach new concepts and vocabulary, all from a Biblical worldview. Kids work individually and in small groups to practice skills and create excellent projects for their annual statutory homeschool portfolios.
Math tracking is provided in whole-group, small-group, and individual formats, depending on the makeup of each registered peer cohort. Periodic classroom diagnostics and parent consultation guide the content covered. One size does not fit all, so our frameworks are customized to support your student's exact needs.
Social skills continue to be an intentional focus. You can expect your child to grow in: listening, following directions, collaborating with peers, patience, empathy, respecting boundaries, perseverance, manners, and personal accountability.
For some families, our Director provides the statutory instructional oversight required under Washington law as a certificated teacher, helping parents navigate home-based qualifications. For others, time at C.L.A.S.S. provides a wonderful developmental supplement to complement their at-home learning.
